Behind the Name

  • Aliza is named for Eliza Doolittle from George Bernard Shaw's Pygmalion, which was made into the movie My Fair Lady. Shaw's story is a retelling of Ovid's classic Greek myth of the same name.

Aliza was meant to be sold and thus had nothing but her kid barn name for the longest of times, but as one sale arrangement after another fell through and her dam Adrastea continued to blossom, we decided she was meant to stay with us.  Aliza is not only a flashy colored doeling, but an incredibly well structured kid that exhibits super dairy character, smoothness of blending, and great leg angulation being quite wide and open throughout.
