Curlie’s ADGA Genetics Pedigree

Curlie is truly a lovely and graceful doe, her exquisitely sharp, upstanding, long, level, deep, balanced, and dairy general appearance is what we strive for in our breeding program.  While not the fanciest udder in the herd, Curlie has a strong mammary system with good width of rear udder and smoothness of fore.   After years of hand milking, we can also say she is by far the easiest doe in the herd to milk.  Unfortunately she has chosen of her volition to not do well at shows, quite literally protesting the moment she leaves the property–lucky for us she feels comfortable enough on Appraisal day to not protest that too!  Her progeny have continued this well-balanced style, demonstrating length and levelness, dairy character, and lovely up-standing carriage.

In 2011, we made some very hard decisions that included selling this beautiful foundation doe to Deb Macke of Raintree Dairy Goats in Wisconsin.  We know she is in good hands and we wish her the best at her new home. Here’s hoping she will like Wisconsin shows better than she liked Washington shows!

Progeny include:
Barnowl Qiviut Q
Barnowl Boucle Q (owned by Raintree Dairy Goats)
Barnowl Riccio Q (owned by Harmody)
