Like our other Blade kids, Yulia is stunningly correct with wonderful dairy strength. Yulia freshened as a lovely yearling milker in early May 2015 with a beautiful wide rear udder, strong medial, and nice extension of fore. Like her dam we would like to see slightly better teat placement, but she does seem to be an improvement over her dam. In a year when we have far too many pretty young does and are having to make a bunch of hard decisions, there is one keeper goat all of us can agree on and that is Yulia. As Dave put it, “Yulia isn’t going anywhere, I like that one.” We are really excited about this young lady, who has a beautiful personality to match her beautiful body.

As a three year old, third freshener she is a powerful, but still elegant doe who is beginning to develop the body capacity to balance out her frame. We are pleased, but not surprised, that she appraised excellent with a final score 90 and VEEE. Yulia didn’t quite pull herself together as nicely in 2018, but she was the proud mom of our prettiest kid of the year, Yuna, who did quite well in some big March classes, even winning a Reserve Junior Champion award. 2019 update, Yuna freshened as a lovely yearling milker, and Yulia after working off some extra weight is much more balanced again. She is available simply because we can’t keep them all and we have some truly exceptional other Elena daughters in the barn.
