Behind the Name

The title of the parallel novel and play of L. Frank Baum's classic The Wonderful Wizard of Oz. The story is told from the witches of the land of Oz, Elphaba the Wicked Witch of the West and Glinda the Good Witch of the North.

Wicked is an extremely well-boned, dairy 2 year old 2nd freshner. She has a correct mammary system displaying great balance, strength of medial, and good size of teats–she is very easy to milk! She has great shoulder assembly and a strong front end, demonstrating a smoothness of blending throughout coupled with sharpness and angularity. She has very good length of chine and loin, and is very level over the rump from thurl to thurl. We decided to sell Wicked in spring 2011 after her dam Bewitched kidded with a set of triplet does, one or two of which we would like to make room for in the herd. We will also be retaining her twin sister Barnowl Charmed and retained her doe kid from last year Barnowl Dorothy, whom we are quite pleased with.
