The first daughter of one of our already all-time favorite does, Seance is a beautiful doe with a wide wedgy shape, pliable dairy skin, flat ribbing, and a silky smoothness about her that makes you just want to put your hands on her. A little too much like her dam’s story, she is the daughter of a deceased parent, thus her name. Eclipse was a stunning young buck, who we unfortunately lost early in his first breeding season with us due to a random bladder obstruction. It broke our hearts to lose such a promising buck not yet in his prime, but getting Seance, her brother Totality, and her paternal sister Eliona are good markers of his legacy.
Seance ended up being kept a dry yearling in 2018, she put the year to good use, picking up a dry leg and a Best Junior Doe in Show at her very first show. She is everything we look for in one of our dry yearlings: strong general appearance and a dairy frame coupled with just a little over-fleshing that we know she’ll milk off next year. After seeing her paternal sister Eliona freshen with a truly incredible mammary, we are counting the days until Seance freshens in 2019.
