Ecstasy is simply one of our favorite does of all time–an oversized teenager who finally found her stride in 2019, she has more personality than almost any goat we’ve ever had. An “unshowable” goat, Mariah exclusively showed the unwieldy Ecstasy, walking cane in hand by not showing her, just letting her be her big, beautiful, imperfect self. Unfortunately in 2020, Ecstasy became our first ever serious ketosis doe after having a giant set of quads. Surprisingly new ground for us and thus a bit slow to fully respond to her situation, Ecstasy survived by her own sheer will to live and heroic efforts by Dave and Ardis who rigged up a sling for a 250 pound goat and did physical therapy exercises with her multiple times a day for many days. Miracle and her sister Mercy are Ecstasy’s last doe kids, although Ecstasy will to live is enormous and her antics barely slowed down, she has sustained permanent nerve damage in her legs that make it impossible for her to safely carry kids or her immense production. The show string will simply never be the same without that big moose in the trailer, but we are grateful that we got this one last miracle.
